How & Why to Palletize
To ensure proper safety and delivery of goods its recommended to palletize your goods.With opting for palletizing, although you are increasing a little bit of volume on your shipment but atleast assured about the proper handling at dock and in Transit
The standard pallet size is 48" in Length & 40" in Width. Thickness of pallet varies from 5" to 7". We always try to optimize space while loading boxes, even though they are all different shapes and dimensions. The best to fit on pallet is a box of size 24" in Length x 18" in Width and height is 24". You can fit 4 boxes of this type in 1 layer.
Max Height of pallet
can go upto 88" and weight must be kept within 1500 lbs for 1 pallet. If
you work out a box of 24"x18"x24", 4 boxes per layer, that gives
you max 3 layers of this size of box on 1 pallet.
